Careers Talks
Careers talks are delivered by our volunteers mostly to secondary schools students but this may also be appropriate for those still at primary school.
Talks can be based around one of many job roles, industries, skills sets required and/or personal journeys to help inform and motivate students. Content could be specific to the individual, a particular type of job or industry or give a general overview of the types of pathways young people could look into.
The style of the talk can vary depending on what schools require. The duration can range from 15-30 minutes, presenting, on the most part, to a full year group but we occasionally deliver to specific small groups with a bespoke industry insight. Volunteers may be asked to deliver their talk multiple times to different groups of students.
